Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret data and analyze results using statistical techniques while providing ongoing reports.
- Search for solutions and define new process improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, and data analytics strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Collaborate with management to prioritize business and information needs.
- Work with IT and data owners to understand collected data types across various databases.
- Comply with QHSE, Business Continuity, Information Security, and related governance policies.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7-8 years of proven experience as a data analyst or business data analyst.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Self-driven, motivated, and customer-centric mindset.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
- Technical expertise in big data modeling, database design development, and data mining techniques.
- Proven experience with SQL, Spark/Hive SQL, Python, R, or similar data analysis tools.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar; ELK is a plus.
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets.
- Proficiency in any cloud technology is recommended.
- Open and flexible to travel to customer locations as needed.
