Key Accountabilities
- Design and roll out an enterprise-wide data governance framework and program, focusing on data quality, security, and privacy.
- Establish all policy and procedural frameworks for group-level enterprise data governance and management practices.
- Serve as a liaison between business and operational areas and technology, ensuring that data protection requirements are clearly defined and integrated into operational planning.
- Develop and maintain an inventory of enterprise information assets, including authoritative systems and owners.
- Support the risk champions in identifying, assessing, and reporting digital risks; maintain risk registers and conduct periodic risk reviews.
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders, ensuring that services are delivered effectively.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a major organization, with a focus on data governance audit and management, preferably within consulting.
- Knowledge of industry-leading Digital Governance and Management Frameworks and practices.
- Practical track record in data governance practices, with knowledge of regulatory requirements and emerging trends.
- Expected to be widely recognized as a subject matter expert in the digital governance and data governance domain.
