Senior Specialist, Digital Change Management

About the Role
As a key member of the Digital Change Management team, the Senior Specialist, Digital Change Management partners closely with business functions to capture, understand, prioritize, and describe their digital demands. This role provides the primary business interface to digital delivery and enablement functions, ensuring effective alignment with business needs. The Senior Specialist assists in managing communication with customer functions, leads transition efforts, and helps customers adopt and adapt to new digital services and solutions. Responsible for maintaining optimal customer satisfaction levels, this position proactively identifies service improvement opportunities and works with customers to resolve service conflicts.

Key Accountabilities
Digital Change Management

• Serve as a trusted advisor and the primary point of contact from Digital for business line managers and key contacts to communicate IT services and capabilities.
• Plan and lead the liaison between business functions and the Group Digital & Cybersecurity teams to provide required guidance and maintain positive relationships with Group Digital & Cybersecurity customers.
• Develop recommendations for joint or coordinated application project delivery across business units in collaboration with other Digital teams, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy for measurable success.
• Support high-level feasibility studies in the pre-project phase to determine the viability of solutions or services.
• Market Digital solutions to the business and run awareness campaigns to promote their efficiency and utilization.
• Develop a communications program to maintain effective communication channels with customers and build stronger relationships.
• Define a Digital change management strategy across group companies and standardize communications for Group Digital & Cybersecurity projects.
• Build and improve customer relationships through surveys, focus groups, benchmarking best practices, and analyzing information and application usage.
• Advise the business line on risks and benefits of existing and new technology to enhance competitive advantage and improve business performance.
• Coordinate with internal Digital & Cybersecurity Teams to develop and maintain multi-year business capability roadmaps, contributing to strategic planning and facilitating technology-driven business changes.
• Plan, supervise, and coordinate all activities in the assigned area to meet functional objectives.
• Train and develop assigned staff on relevant skills for job proficiency and to deliver respective business objectives.
• Implement approved policies, processes, systems, standards, and procedures in line with company and International standards to support work program execution.

Stakeholder Management

• Supervise tracking of Business Portfolio Communications for Group Digital & Cybersecurity Projects.
• Lead liaison with business unit management to articulate technology needs and requirements that advance business performance.

Subject Matter Expert for Future Domain Specific Implementations

• Implement best practices for all Change Management activities and provide necessary training and support to users during and after deployment of relevant digital solutions.

Other Duties

• Contribute to the protection of digital assets and corporate information against security threats by implementing company information security standards and related policies.
• Provide input for preparation of the Function/Division/Department/Section budgets and assist in implementing approved budgets to deliver business objectives.

Performance Management

• Contribute to achieving approved Performance Objectives for the Function/Division/Department/Section in line with the company Performance framework.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement

• Design and implement new tools and techniques to improve operational process quality and efficiency.
• Identify process improvements against industry best practices to pursue greater efficiency and define intelligent solutions for functional issues.

Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Sustainability

• Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures, controls, applicable legislation, and sustainability guidelines per international standards and company practices.

Reports

• Prepare Management Information System (MIS) and progress reports for company management.

Communications & Working Relationships
Internal

• Regular contact with IT Management Team and end-users across the organization concerning service delivery and operations.
• Frequent contact with Programs/Projects Managers and Architects on services transition, roadmap developments, and projects delivery.
• Regular contact with counterparts in Group Companies on IT-related matters.

External

• Frequent contact with external auditors, vendors, consultants, and IT professional organizations to ensure quality service delivery.
• Occasional contact with counterparts in regional and international oil companies for information exchange and benchmarking.
• Regular contact with local and international IT service providers regarding service delivery and strategic direction.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills
Minimum Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.

Minimum Experience

• 10 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 5 years in progressively increasing technical and managerial roles in IT with an emphasis on IT solutions, application development, and project management.
