Responsibilities
- Drive H&S regulatory compliance system and control compliance with applicable legislations.
- Coordinate the identification of H&S hazards for all activities and support risk assessment and relevant control measures.
- Support implementation of H&S Standards and Landscape Nursery H&S Programs.
- Drive incident reporting, investigation, improvement, and H&S Performance.
- Provide guidance in Health & Safety Management based on ISO 45001 Standard and support continuous improvement.
- Contribute to regional and global standard development and improvement.
- Compile safety programs and maintain compliance with all safety regulations.
- Establish professional relationships with employees and conduct workplace inspections, risk assessments, and audits.
- Initiate and perform H&S trainings for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Participate in safety committees and lead teams to address complex HSE issues.
- Promote safety culture and recognition of safe work practices among employees.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and coordinate emergency drills.
- Record and investigate incidents to determine causes and prepare reports on occurrences.
- Assist clients in maintaining comprehensive records related to HSE programs.
- Stay informed of changes in HSE regulations and best practices, implementing necessary updates to programs.
Requirements

Qualification and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Scientific, or H&S related field alongside relevant experience.
- Proficient in both Saudi and English languages at a business level.
- Strong understanding of ISO and relevant regulations.
- In-depth knowledge of legislation such as OSHA/EMS, Saudi Arabia’s HSE, COSHH, confined spaces, lifting operations, and excavations.
- Relevant health and safety certifications.
- Health and safety experience in Gulf countries is essential.
- Problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities with an aptitude for influencing change.
- Desire to work in a dynamic and agile environment with a focus on sustainability.

Skills:
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive experience in a health, safety, and environmental management role, preferably in a similar industry.
- NEBOSH IGC Certification.
- Experience in conducting emergency drills, fire fighting, first aid, and maintaining occupational health.
- Capability in report preparation, safety audits, and safety training.
- Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers is preferred.
