Senior Specialist – Infrastructure

This position is open exclusively for UAE Nationals (EMIRATIZATION). The Senior Specialist - Infrastructure will be responsible for installing, configuring, and administering systems. Key duties include maintaining and evaluating new technologies for backup, restoration, and disaster recovery for high availability mission-critical systems. The specialist will proactively monitor systems to ensure secure services with minimal downtime, provide trend analysis to the service management team to facilitate informed resource management decisions, and oversee the improvement and maintenance of IT systems, including the rollout of upgrades and security patches.

Additional responsibilities include identifying operational issues and risks, developing resolution strategies based on fact-based insights, managing infrastructure capacity planning and license management, and performing disaster recovery rehearsal activities in accordance with agreed Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) defined by the central bank BCP team. The role also involves participation in disaster recovery and data center failover drills. The candidate must ensure the performance, integrity, and security of IT systems.
