Senior Specialist – Marketing Strategy and Governance

The Senior Specialist – Marketing Strategy and Governance supports the development, implementation, and monitoring of marketing strategies to ensure alignment with the organization’s overall objectives. The role coordinates strategic planning activities, supports marketing governance frameworks, monitors performance, and ensures consistent processes and standards across all marketing functions.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the overall marketing strategy, annual plans, and strategic initiatives.
• Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and industry benchmarking to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks.
• Coordinate with marketing teams to ensure their plans and activities are aligned with the organization’s objectives and brand direction.
• Develop and maintain marketing governance frameworks, policies, procedures, and approval processes.
• Ensure marketing activities follow established organizational policies, brand standards, and delegated authorities.
• Monitor compliance with agreed governance requirements and follow up on identified gaps or corrective actions.
• Track the progress and performance of marketing initiatives against approved objectives, budgets, and timelines.
• Analyze performance data and provide insights and recommendations to improve marketing effectiveness.
• Work closely with relevant teams to coordinate strategic priorities and facilitate planning workshops, governance meetings, and performance review sessions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Strategy, Management, or a related field.
• Professional certification in strategy, marketing, project management, or performance management is an advantage.
• Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience in marketing strategy, strategic planning, marketing governance, business planning, or performance management.
• Experience preparing executive reports, performance dashboards, governance documents, and strategic presentations.
• Experience coordinating with multiple marketing functions and corporate stakeholders.
