The SAP Integration & Customization Expert will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing integrations, extensions, and AI-driven customizations across the SAP ecosystem, leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Joule Studio. The role focuses on establishing seamless connectivity between SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, ServiceNow, MS Teams, and third-party systems, ensuring interoperability, scalability, and compliance within the enterprise architecture. This position is pivotal in enabling AI-powered business experiences through Joule (SAP’s AI layer) and custom BTP applications that enhance productivity, analytics, and user experience.

Responsibilities:

Integration Architecture & Design:
- Design and implement integration frameworks between SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, ServiceNow, DocuSign, Power BI, and other enterprise systems.
- Utilize SAP Integration Suite to build robust, scalable integration layers.
- Define integration patterns, data mapping standards, and error-handling protocols.
- Ensure compliance with data security, privacy, and regulatory standards (SOC 2, TRA, ISO 27001).

BTP Development & Customization:
- Develop custom extensions and Fiori applications using SAP BTP, CAP, and UI5.
- Build event-driven, low-code/no-code applications and workflows that extend core SAP functionality.
- Manage application lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and deployments across development, QA, and production environments.
- Optimize performance and ensure scalability of deployed applications and integrations.

Joule Studio Enablement:
- Design and configure Joule conversational and generative AI experiences for Finance, HR, and Procurement use cases.
- Integrate Joule with MS Teams, SAP Portal, and third-party platforms.
- Collaborate with business teams to identify AI-enablement opportunities and enhance digital adoption.

Governance, Monitoring & Support:
- Establish monitoring, alerting, and logging mechanisms for all integrations and extensions.
- Define governance frameworks for API usage and custom object creation.
- Provide technical leadership during incident resolution and performance tuning.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
- Partner with SAP functional consultants, data engineers, and business process owners to align solutions with enterprise needs.
- Support internal upskilling on BTP and Joule Studio.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in SAP integration, extension development, or technical architecture.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, Integration Suite, CAP, Fiori/UI5, and OData / REST APIs.
- Proven track record in integrating SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Experience implementing or customizing SAP Joule AI or equivalent frameworks.
- Proficiency in Cloud Foundry, Kyma, Node.js, Java, or Python for SAP BTP development.
- Strong understanding of security protocols (OAuth 2.0, SAML, SSO, certificate-based authentication).
- Experience working in agile, DevOps, and multi-tenant enterprise environments.
