Education
- University Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
- Post-graduate Degree preferred

Technical Knowledge
- Core knowledge in soil/rock mechanics, geological processes, materials behavior, fluid dynamics, and structural engineering principles
- Proficient in soil characterization and geotechnical assessment
- Skills in FE modeling, software applications, ground modeling, statistical analysis, risk prediction, and simulation techniques
- Knowledge of ground investigation methodologies
- Engineering design capabilities (piling design, shoring design)
- Instrumentation expertise
- Familiarity with international building codes, environmental regulations, safety engineering, and risk management
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years as a Geotechnical Engineer
- Proven experience in independent site investigation, complex soil analysis, and foundation design analysis
- Client engagement and independent technical documentation experience
Primary Functions
- Perform technical evaluations such as soil classification, strength and stability, and load bearing capacity analysis
- Provide engineering recommendations, construction guidance, and technical problem-solving for third-party design verification services
- Prepare comprehensive technical reports
- Attend meetings and discussions with clients and authorities
Technical Expertise
- Strong experience in soil mechanics principles, rock engineering, geological processes, ground behavior, materials strength, and structural interaction
- Expertise in advanced engineering areas including foundation engineering, underground construction, earthquake engineering, slope stability analysis, and geotechnical risk mitigation
- Competent in structural load calculations, ground support systems, infrastructure design, and geotechnical optimization
- Ability to perform technical investigation methods like geophysical surveys, GPR, borehole investigations, lab soil testing, and instrumentation operations
- Proficient in AutoCAD, PLAXIS, GIS, finite element modeling, statistical analysis tools, and 3D ground modeling software
