Senior System Administrator

The company is seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to manage and support enterprise Windows Server infrastructure, Active Directory, and core infrastructure services. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience in server administration, patching, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and working with Microsoft infrastructure technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain, troubleshoot, and patch Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.
• Manage Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS), including users, groups, organizational units, and domain administration.
• Configure and manage DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy (GPO).
• Monitor server performance, availability, capacity, and overall system health.
• Perform OS patching, updates, upgrades, and vulnerability remediation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve Windows Server operating system, application, and infrastructure issues.
• Manage File and Print Services, including permissions, access controls, and availability.
• Support and maintain Windows Server clustering and high-availability environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft SCCM for software deployment, patch management, and endpoint/server management.
• Perform system hardening, configuration optimization, and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in incident resolution, root cause analysis, and infrastructure improvement initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, procedures, and operational records.
• Coordinate with network, security, application, and other infrastructure teams to resolve complex issues.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
• Experience with Microsoft SCCM and enterprise patch management.
• Strong troubleshooting and performance-monitoring skills.
• Experience managing File/Print Services and Windows Server Clustering.
• Knowledge of Windows security hardening, access management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure operations and IT service management.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MCSE, MCSA, or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate are preferred.
• Experience working in large-scale enterprise or multi-site infrastructure environments.
