Senior System Assurance Lead

The company is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Senior System Assurance Lead who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic, and the position is based in Abu Dhabi – UAE.

The person in this role will be required to perform a wide range of techno-managerial activities, including:

• At least 10-12 years of relevant railway experience in working in system assurance and at least 5 years’ experience as a System Assurance Manager managing system assurance works of similar nature.
• A track record of successfully handling system assurance management in accordance with EN 50126, EN 50128, and EN 50129 for complex railway or metro projects.
• Close collaboration with regional and global RAMS leadership to resolve issues and strategize project advancements.
• Ensuring project compliance with RAMS requirements through effective management and monitoring of V&V activities, adhering to schedule and budget in complex projects.
• Timely delivery of project system assurance deliverables while adhering to project contract and quality assurance processes.
• Compliance with project schedules, budgets, and RAMS requirements as defined in the project.
• Monitoring project V&V activities and interfacing with D&B contractors to ensure timely delivery.
• Effective communication with clients, internal and external ISAs, and internal senior management, including timely escalation of issues to relevant leadership.
• Ensuring system safety and reliability requirements are met and issuing project RAMS documentation to the client.
• Supporting preparation of bids and proposals and effectively leading local and offshore teams.
• Management of workload with periodic updates and analysis of deviations in cooperation with project planners.
• Critical path management and alignment of RAMS schedule with the project master schedule.
• Contributing to the improvement of RAMS and V&V standard processes, focusing on effectiveness and cost reduction.
• Sharing project lessons learned with the RAMS department and working closely with onsite and offshore project safety teams.
