Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure)

About
We are currently looking for a Senior Systems Engineer (Cloud & Infrastructure) for our UAE operations with the following skillsets and terms & conditions:

Requirements

• 7–10+ years in Systems / Infrastructure Engineering
• AWS certifications (Solutions Architect Professional preferred)
• Strong, hands-on AWS experience (this is critical)
  • Not theoretical — must have built and operated real environments
• Deep understanding of:
  • Networking fundamentals (L3/L4/L7)
  • Security and identity
  • Operating systems (Linux + Windows)
• Proven experience in automation
• Experience in hybrid environments
• Strong troubleshooting ability across multiple layers

Key Responsibilities

• AWS Cloud Ownership (Core Requirement)
  • Architect, deploy, and manage production-grade AWS environments
  • Design secure, scalable, and cost-optimized solutions across:
    • EC2, S3, EBS, EFS
    • VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, Direct Connect
    • RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora
    • IAM, Organizations, Control Tower
    • CloudFront, Route 53
    • Lambda, API Gateway
  • Implement high availability, DR, and backup strategies (multi-AZ, multi-region)
  • Lead AWS cost optimization
  • Troubleshoot complex AWS issues across compute, network, storage, and security layers
