Project Overview:
Bechtel has a strong presence in complex aviation and transportation projects worldwide. In the GCC, the company has played significant roles in various international airports. The current focus is on providing project management consultancy services for a major infrastructure project in Riyadh, specifically targeting candidates with experience in aviation or complex public-accessible building projects.
Major Responsibilities:
- Apply systems engineering principles in the airport project environment.
- Review and prepare documentation related to requirements management, verification & validation, and systems integration.
- Coordinate design with other project disciplines and manage interface across contracts and work packages.
- Conduct audits and present findings related to systems engineering processes.
- Support the development of systems architecture and technical criteria for airport system engineering activities.
- Produce verification packages to facilitate the turnover of completed airport systems and facilities.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Grade 26: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant systems engineering experience, or 12-14 years of relevant work experience.
- Grade 27: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and 10-13 years of relevant systems engineering experience, or 14-17 years of relevant work experience.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience with special airport systems, including data networking, data centers, surveillance systems, and baggage handling.
- Understanding of airline industry regulations and design criteria.
- Knowledge of interface management and integration of systems into airport command structures.
