We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Artist to join our team. The ideal candidate will specialize in XR, particularly Mixed Reality (MR), playing a pivotal role in the development and execution of immersive MR experiences using platforms like Apple Vision Pro, Hololens, and other advanced headsets. Your expertise in Unity and XR technologies will drive the technical aspects of art production and ensure seamless integration of virtual elements with the real world.
Key Responsibilities:

XR/MR Development:
- Design and implement technical solutions for MR experiences to ensure optimal performance and user engagement.
- Collaborate with XR developers and project managers to define technical requirements and creative goals for MR projects.
- Stay current with the latest MR technologies and tools, integrating new solutions to enhance project outcomes.

Technical Art in Unity:
- Create shaders, custom effects, and scripts for realistic interactions and visuals in MR environments.
- Develop and manage asset pipelines, ensuring smooth workflows between Unity and other software used in MR content creation.
- Optimize 3D models, textures, and animations for real-time performance, focusing on fidelity and efficiency across various MR platforms.

Collaboration and Leadership:
- Work closely with creative and technical teams to bridge the gap between artistic vision and technical feasibility.
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members on best practices in MR development and problem-solving in Unity.
- Lead R&D initiatives for exploring new ideas and technologies in the XR space.

Quality Assurance and Testing:
- Implement and oversee rigorous testing regimes to ensure MR applications meet usability and performance standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to MR implementations, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
Qualifications:
- Profound knowledge of Unity, particularly in an XR development context.
- Strong experience with MR technologies, including Apple Vision Pro and Hololens.
- Expertise in 3D modeling, texturing, and shader development and optimization.
- Familiarity with scripting in C# and using Unity’s APIs for MR content.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Prior experience in leading technical teams and projects in the XR space is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
