Job Purpose:
Under the supervision of the Project/Delivery Manager, the Technical Consultant is responsible for providing technical support and advice at client sites throughout all stages of the company's product implementation projects.
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Specialize in technical aspects of the project in liaison with the Project Manager.
- Advise clients on the technical architecture and tools of the company's T24 Application Services.
- Undertake configuration of the company's products and support data migration aspects.
- Assist in the setup of technical architecture and tools for T24 Application Services, and undertake required development activities.
- Install custom enhancements and conduct necessary testing to ensure user acceptance and quality of the solution.
- Provide clear technical documentation for internal and external use.
- Liaise with the company's maintenance groups to resolve product problems encountered by clients.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience in software technical consultancy, ideally in a banking environment.
- Technical knowledge in INFOBASIC, JAVA, ORACLE 9 (or above), with experience in UNIX, AS400, and NT operating systems. Familiarity with mainframes is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills, organizational abilities, and a team-oriented mindset, capable of thriving in a multicultural environment.
