Position

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Technical Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be preparing and delivering training courses in classroom settings or on-site, as well as following up on post-training activities (e.g., course feedback collection, arrangement of facilities and equipment, possible corrective actions on course material and equipment). You will ensure safe working conditions for training course participants in accordance with Hitachi Energy safety instructions and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop course material for training in your area of responsibility and advise on updates needed in e-learning material.
  • Create and update course descriptions and programs based on feedback provided.
  • Collaborate closely with technical Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, Sales, and other stakeholder groups to support training course development and delivery.
  • Provide technical support for customers regarding MiCro SCADA and RTU family products, coordinating resolutions with After-Sales Service and/or Spare Parts teams.
  • Handle day-to-day tickets, follow up with clients, provide feedback, and ensure problems are resolved.
  • Offer on-call off-hours support as needed.
  • Replicate issues reported by customers in the LAB environment, working with the R&D team to identify root causes and solutions.
  • Contribute to the knowledge base by creating KB articles and FAQs, and support the sales team by providing technical guidance for offer preparation.
  • Participate in training and improve product and process knowledge while understanding SLAs and aligning work accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8-15 years of experience, preferably in Electronics and Communications.
  • Relevant work experience with Micro SCADA family products and customer support experience in technical roles.
  • Exposure to SYS600 engineering tools and RTU PLC logic.
  • Good understanding of communication protocols (IEC61850, IEC101, IC104, Modbus) and familiarity with XML and SCIL coding.
  • Understanding of Windows, SQL, and patch updates is required.
  • Proficiency in both spoken and written English is essential.
