We are looking for a Senior Technical DevOps Engineer - Observability to lead the implementation and administration of enterprise-class observability solutions like Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, and Dynatrace. You will work in a large environment with workloads running in self-managed data centers and public cloud. Our team takes a proactive approach to ensure swift issue remediation and rapid incident response through advanced monitoring solutions. Requirements
- Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Computational Mathematics, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or similar roles.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience implementing enterprise-class observability solutions (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana).
- Proven expertise in fully automated deployment pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Proficiency in configuring and managing observability tools for cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premises environments (AWS, Azure, VMware).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration platforms (e.g., Openshift, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab).
- Proven ability to design and implement Observability as code for applications and databases.
- Understanding of application performance monitoring (APM) and log analytics.
- Strong ability to work with REST APIs for log/metric collection and data processing.
