Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver robust, high-quality IT data solutions that align with business needs and corporate standards.
- Provide expert technical consultancy and guidance to EGIT within the technology area and act as the lead technical member in the project team delivering the work packages assigned.
- Ensure that the developed architecture/solution meets the service level requirements in terms of expected availability, capacity, continuity, security, performance, and reliability.
- Collaborate with other IT Technology teams to implement ongoing monitoring of the relevant technology to ensure level 1 & 2 incidents are configured within EMS.
- Publish and maintain high-quality documentation and data catalogue for the technology area to ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and governance across systems.
Requirements
- Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent) in Information Technology.
- 5+ years of experience in the IT industry within a business IT environment, particularly in the areas of implementation and deployment of complex Cloud/internet/web infrastructure related projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with AIX 7.x environments on IBM Power systems and Oracle Solaris 10/11 on SPARC hardware (T-series).
- Proven expertise in scripting and automation with strong support capability for Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
