Senior Technology Architect

About
The role holder is responsible for developing and maintaining the overall Infrastructure technology architecture models and roadmap, providing technical leadership and consulting across. This position exists to evaluate current Cybersecurity architectures, define gaps, develop transition roadmaps, and establish principles.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate global and local technology trends including standardized technologies, adopted best practices, and use cases.
• Lead on technology decisions regarding Fixed access and Transport Technology domain including the adoption of new technologies and planning to retire legacy technologies.
• Ensure the development of a coherent Fixed access and Transport Architecture that aligns with the overarching technology strategy and meets business goals.
• Evaluate and review technical and architecture proposals such as RFIs & RFPs and provide insight on adopting new trending technologies.
• Lead the development and maintenance of the Fixed access and Transport Architecture for mobile technologies based on best practices.
• Review the full list of Technology projects in progress and planned for implementation, identifying interdependencies with technology strategy and roadmap.

Requirements

• A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in managing large scale Technology Architecture Transformation and Implementation programs.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related field.
• Exposure to emerging trends and technologies in previous roles.
