The company is seeking a Senior Telecom Engineer responsible for supervising and managing the work of designers and contractors in the telecom design, including wireless and access networks, data centers, and backbone cabling, along with safety designs such as CCTV, access control, public address, fire alarm, and BMS. You will report to the Electrical Design Manager and prepare estimates, work plans, and progress reports while assisting with procurement and evaluation for MEP contractors. Key responsibilities include coordinating with teams throughout the project lifecycle to ensure that outcomes meet customer objectives.

Major Responsibilities
- Supervision and management of designers and contractors in infrastructure electrical systems design.
- Review of technical submissions regarding telecom systems.
- Support to Contracts & Procurement in design delivery and post-tender technical evaluations.
- Monitor progress and performance of designers and contractors.
- Coordination with the Stakeholder Management team for timely permits and approvals.
- Support the Construction & Quality delivery teams.
- Collaborate with the Start-Up/Commissioning team to address requirements early in the design process.
- Coordinate telecom systems design integration across multiple contracts and stakeholders.
- Provide subject matter expertise for systems engineering documentation.
- Conduct audits and report findings on adherence to engineering processes.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in telecom engineering.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in large infrastructure projects.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Strong technical knowledge of telecom systems and electrical systems design.
- In-depth understanding of local and international electrical codes.
- Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure and public event/venue projects.
- Proficient in BIM platforms and coordination tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
