The successful candidate will review and guide the telecommunication and networking design and documentation for projects that are part of the growth and expansion of Jubail Industrial City. This role involves preparing innovative designs and ensuring compliance with corporate standards and user requirements. The position also includes coordinating specifications and design documentation, providing support to the construction department, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of all engineering design activities.

Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing consultant and contractor design and drawing packages for major projects concerning copper and fiber-optic networks.
- Preparing designs for the expansion of fiber optic distribution systems.
- Collaborating with clients' IT and O&M departments to meet design standards.
- Coordinating design inputs from stakeholders and integrating them into project documentation.
- Providing technical assistance across disciplines and mentoring younger engineers.
- Ensuring the engineering designs by A/E firms and EPC contractors are accurate and comply with project specifications.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic or Telecommunication Engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in major multidisciplinary PMC/EPC projects, particularly in telecom system design.
- Design experience in various telecom systems including OSP, FTTH, DWDM, MAN, and LAN.
- In-depth knowledge of codes and standards relevant to telecommunications engineering.
- Proficient in planning telecom infrastructure expansion and managing design coordination.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Proven experience as a Chartered/Professional Engineer.
- Understanding of construction, testing, and commissioning processes for telecom systems.
- Familiarity with professional design tools such as BIM, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networks, routing, and cyber security protocols.
