Senior Telecom/CISCO Collaboration Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior Telecom/CISCO Collaboration Engineer for our Qatar operations.

Location: Doha, Qatar

Education/Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer/Communications Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Telecom Systems support. Experience in financial institutions is a plus.
• Professional training on the relevant systems.

Required Special Skills:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Self-driven with well-developed leadership and team-building skills.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Administer, design, and support telecom and collaboration systems, including:

  • IP Telephony systems
  • PSTN / PRI / SIP telephony lines
  • ADSL lines
  • Voice recording systems
  • Video conferencing systems
  • Structured cabling (internal and external networks)
  • Ensure high availability and optimal performance of telecom systems across all Group locations.

• Handle efficiently and effectively the bank’s Telecom systems and services that extend to all users.

• Maintain relationships with selected vendors for Telecom hardware & software for proper handling & support of telecom equipment/services.

• Maintain effective relationships with all other related departments & units to achieve the Group’s goals & objectives in Telecom systems availability & monitoring.
