Senior Test Engineer

About the Job
As a Senior Test Engineer at Expleo Group, you will play a pivotal role in the Cards and Payments domain, focusing on Switch, E-Commerce, and Scheme certification for Point of Sale (POS) terminals. The position is based in Dubai and requires an on-site full-time commitment. You will leverage your expertise to ensure the successful deployment and validation of card processing systems.

Responsibilities:

• Possess a solid understanding of the cards issuing life cycle.
• Exhibit proficiency in Postilion switch configuration and transaction routing.
• Upload Card BINs for transaction routing through the switch.
• Conduct Scheme certifications for POS terminals, including Visa, MasterCard, AMEX, and Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC).
• Perform patch deployment and validation for switches.
• Set up POS terminals and manage application downloads.
• Configure TMS for new Merchant Identification (MID) and Terminal Identification (TID).
• Analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
• Execute test scripts and scenarios while verifying results.
• Maintain and upload pass logs and defect logs in management systems.
• Communicate daily with clients regarding project execution status and issues.
• Exhibit strong communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel to client locations as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• ISTQB Advanced certification.
• Additional courses or certifications in Quality Assurance are preferred.
• Strong skills in software testing, business requirements analysis, and test management.

Essential Skills:

• Tools: Visa/MasterCard Simulators, ISO 8583 Format, ATM, CDM, POS systems.
• Applications: AS400, Putty Terminal, Postilion, Keytool SSL generation.
• Test Management Tool: JIRA.
• POS Terminals: Ingenico, VeriFone, PAX.
• Switch technology: Postilion.
