ABOUT THE ROLE
The Structural Test Engineer is responsible for structural testing (including static, dynamic, and fatigue testing) and validation of the UAV platform, ensuring that the airframe and all supporting structures meet performance, safety, and durability standards. This role involves close collaboration with design, integration, and flight test teams to ensure that all structural elements meet stringent specifications.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- UAV Components; Structural Testing, test design, test planning, test execution, test setup/equipment design.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in structural testing, with a focus on aerospace, UAV, or defense systems.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills:
- Knowledge of structural testing (static, dynamic, and fatigue) and test setup design.
- Proficiency in test equipment used for structural testing (e.g., load cells, strain gauges, test rigs, vibration testing equipment).
- Familiarity with structural analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, NASTRAN, Abaqus) and the ability to interpret structural test results in the context of design requirements.
- Familiarity with structural modal analysis software (e.g., Simcenter Testlab) and the ability to interpret modal test results and compare them to the FEM results.
- Familiarity with Design CAD software like SolidWorks.
- Experience with data acquisition systems and analysis tools (e.g., LabVIEW, MATLAB, or similar software) for collecting, processing, and analyzing test data.
