Senior Threat Intelligence Specialist

Help AG is seeking a talented and enthusiastic individual to join as a Senior Threat Intelligence Specialist. This role involves analyzing, curating, and operationalizing threat intelligence to enhance cyber defense strategies. The specialist will integrate intelligence with security systems, provide actionable insights, and optimize Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs) for efficiency. The position requires advanced expertise to stay ahead of evolving threats and leverage intelligence to improve organizational security posture.

Responsibilities:

• Apply intelligence tradecraft techniques to gather, analyze, and disseminate actionable threat intelligence for cybersecurity operations.
• Operate and manage Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs) for threat data enrichment and correlation.
• Conduct detailed threat assessments and produce timely threat intelligence reports for various stakeholders.
• Collaborate with security operations, incident response, and vulnerability management teams to operationalize threat intelligence.
• Monitor open-source intelligence, dark web, and commercial feeds to identify emerging threats and trends.
• Recommend improvements to threat intelligence workflows and data integration.
• Maintain awareness of evolving threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) using frameworks like MITRE ATT&CK.
• Manage the lifecycle of threat intelligence and respond to technical queries.
• Document actions and findings clearly for effective communication.
• Collaborate with other teams to provide timely and actionable intelligence.
• Participate in internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Qualifications and Skills:

• A Degree in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 6-7 years of experience in Threat Intelligence.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Threat Intelligence Platforms (TIPs) like MISP, ThreatConnect, Anomali, Recorded Future, etc.
• Familiarity with intelligence methodologies and conducting threat assessments.
• Good understanding of threat actor profiling and frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK).
• Experience with OSINT, commercial, and dark web threat feeds.
• Demonstrable experience in cyber security and threat intelligence analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Industry certifications such as GIAC Cyber Threat Intelligence (GCTI), CEH, CISSP, or Security+ are preferred.
• Fluent in [language requirements if applicable].
