What You’ll Do
- Flow Monetization and Hedging Automation: Collaborate with technical teams to build supervised agents for pre-hedging analysis, hedge execution, and post-hedging review. You’ll assess execution costs, risk reductions, and commercial results.
- Automated Market Monitoring: Design monitoring strategies for trends, volatility, and liquidity across core instruments with clear alert systems and feedback loops.
- Trading Conditions and Execution Quality: Automate the analysis of spreads, slippage, and liquidity provider performance, investigate changes, and recommend adjustments accordingly.
- Fraud Monitoring and Detection: Analyze flagged trading patterns to differentiate legitimate actions from genuine abuse and enhance detection logic.
- Backtesting and Strategy Validation: Conduct structured backtests of hedging strategies, using realistic execution conditions while preventing overfitting.
- Risk Frameworks and Operational Controls: Maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for trading analysis and agent supervision, including approval boundaries and exposure limits.
- Liquidity Infrastructure Optimization: Evaluate liquidity providers and platform setups (MT5, cTrader, TradingView) to enhance pricing and execution reliability.
- Reporting and Decision Support: Automate accurate reports for various teams and ensure the correctness of all outputs, including AI-generated queries and calculations.
- Senior Ownership and Team Development: Lead complex investigations, coordinate with technical teams, mentor colleagues, and onboard new hires.
Who You Are
- Minimum 5 years of experience in trading analysis, financial markets, or a similar analytical role within a regulated entity.
- Degree in mathematics, finance, economics, or related field with extensive experience in live trading environments.
- Strong data handling abilities, including SQL, with a thorough understanding of large trading datasets.
- Experience running backtests that informed actual decisions, distinguishing between useful insights and bias.
- Ability to translate trading terminology into plain language, making it understandable for colleagues outside the trading team.
- Familiarity with AI tools in analysis and understanding their limitations.
- Proven ability to solve complex issues independently, providing clear communication of findings.
- Commitment to raising team standards by mentoring and sharing effective methodologies.
