We are seeking a hands-on Senior UX/UI Designer to join our team and drive the success of our hybrid casual mobile titles. This vital leadership position requires strong execution, live game experience, and the ability to mentor others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design high-fidelity UI mockups, icons, and visual assets for mobile game interfaces.
- Establish and maintain a cohesive visual language across all UI components.
- Collaborate with art, animation, and VFX experts to ensure visual polish and consistency.
- Develop user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes for core and meta-game systems.
- Ensure UX decisions support both player engagement and game mechanics.
- Implement UI designs in Unity with pixel-perfect fidelity and responsiveness.
- Create and manage UI prefabs, animations, transitions, and responsive layouts.
- Collaborate with engineers to optimize UI performance and resolve integration challenges.
- Maintain and evolve UI systems within Unity, including localization and accessibility.
- Work closely with game designers, developers, and product managers to align UI/UX with gameplay.
- Provide documentation and specifications for UI implementation.
- Support QA and live ops teams with UI updates and improvements.
- Stay informed on mobile gaming UI/UX trends and best practices.
- Benchmark competitor games and propose innovative solutions.
- Explore new interaction models and technologies to enhance player immersion.
- Help define and evolve the design process and tools used across projects.
Qualifications and Key Skills:
- 5+ years in UX/UI design, with the last 3 years in mobile games.
- Strong portfolio showcasing mobile game UI work and Unity integration.
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Advanced experience with Unity UI systems (UGUI, TextMeshPro, Animator, etc.).
- Experience with live games and iterative design based on analytics.
- Mentorship experience and ability to guide junior designers.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to document ideas clearly and concisely.
- Strong attention to detail from both technical and artistic perspectives.
- Proactive problem-solving and intuitive development skills.
- Passionate gamer with an understanding of the industry and target audiences.
- Bachelor's degree or College diploma in graphic design or equivalent is preferred.
