What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead and coordinate utilities engineers in developing utility corridors, utility layouts, and coordinated cross-sections in accordance with Abu Dhabi authority standards, UCDM, and USDM requirements.
- Review and assess Notice of Information (NOI) data and existing utility records to establish reliable utility information for infrastructure design and coordination.
- Perform utilities conflict analysis, identify potential clashes and design constraints, and coordinate with relevant disciplines to develop practical resolution strategies.
- Review utility layouts, corridor arrangements, and cross-sections to ensure compliance with project requirements, design standards, and authority guidelines.
- Manage and monitor the preparation, review, and submission of Technical Project Drawings (TPDs) and ensure timely completion of associated deliverables.
- Coordinate and follow up on No Objection Certificate (NOC) applications with relevant utility authorities and stakeholders.
- Liaise with multidisciplinary design teams, project management, and authorities to resolve technical issues and facilitate design approvals.
- Monitor team progress, review deliverable quality, and ensure timely completion of utilities coordination activities.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- 8+ years of experience in infrastructure utilities coordination, preferably in Abu Dhabi.
- Strong working knowledge of Abu Dhabi utility authority requirements, UCDM, and USDM standards.
- Proven experience in utility conflict analysis, utility corridor planning, and coordinated cross-section development.
- Experience reviewing existing utility information, NOI data, and utility records.
- Demonstrated experience with TPD preparation and submissions, NOC applications, and authority coordination.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and practical experience using Civil 3D for infrastructure design, utility coordination, and drawing review.
