Senior UX Copywriter

The goal of the Design office at Emirates NBD is to enable the bank to become the world’s most human-centric financial institution, where customers and business partners can achieve their goals through exceptionally designed experiences. The Senior UX Copywriter will be part of the Design team within the Digital Office organization. This role involves crafting compelling and user-centric written content that enhances the overall user experience across digital platforms.

Main Tasks:

• Create clear, concise, and user-friendly copy for websites, applications, and other digital platforms.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure alignment between visual and written elements.
• Develop and implement a consistent tone of voice across all digital touchpoints.
• Estimate efforts based on requirements and propose plans based on deadlines.
• Iterate and optimize UX copy based on user feedback and data analytics.
• Audit existing copy and propose enhancements within agreed timelines.
• Track and analyze user feedback and data to continuously improve and refine copy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create cohesive user experiences.
• Integrate within the Design delivery teams and collaborate using Agile methodology.
• Communicate and articulate UX copy-related recommendations and decisions.

Experience & Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience in a related field.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, communication, marketing, or related fields.
• Proven professional experience in relevant industries such as corporate, finance, or retail products.
• Proficiency in reading and writing UK English.
• Native Arabic speaker with proficiency in reading and writing in GCC or UAE National Dialect.
• Experience in the banking or financial industry is considered an asset.
• Experience in the GCC region is considered an asset.
• Knowledge of Human-Centered Design Practices.
• Proficient in content management systems, SEO principles, and basic HTML.
• Ability to ideate and contribute to the creative process, translating ideas into compelling copy.
• A firm grasp of UX and instructional principles as they apply to copywriting.
• A diverse portfolio highlighting successful projects and deliverables, including examples of how your copywriting improved user experiences.
• Ability to adapt writing style to different industries and target audiences.
