Senior UX Designer

VML is seeking a Freelance Senior UX Designer to join our Customer Experience (CX) team and lead the design efforts for our digital products. This role will report to the Head of Customer Experience and requires collaboration with designers, developers, copywriters, and business stakeholders. You will focus predominantly on the research, strategy, and definition of experiences, spending significant time in tools like Miro, Word, Excel, and Figma.

Location: Dubai, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Work Conditions:

• Contract role
• On-site position
• Normal working hours (9 AM - 6 PM)

Duration: 3 months+ (with potential extension).

Responsibilities:

• Create and deliver compelling and elegant digital experiences across multiple client accounts.
• Develop information architecture flows, user personas, customer journey maps, and other UX documentation.
• Lead large-scale projects collaboratively and facilitate UX-focused workshops.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of agency experience with a portfolio showcasing sketches, maps, diagrams, journey maps, and wireframes.
• Expertise in designing end-to-end solutions from research to high-fidelity outputs.
• Strong time-management skills to balance work across multiple projects.
• Experience in providing mentorship to junior UX colleagues.
• Familiarity with experimentation and A/B testing projects.

Preferred Experience:

• Proficient in various user research methods.
• Understanding of cognitive science or behavioral economics.

Requirements:

• Must have a valid visa to work in the UAE and the ability to travel to the office daily (this is not a remote role).
• Availability to commit to the designated working hours without parallel commitments.

Language Requirements: English proficiency is expected.
