Senior UX Designer

The role of a Senior UX Designer at Canonical involves working with the open-source community and Canonical customers to research new features and improvements. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to shape the future of Canonical products and will be responsible for evolving and evangelizing design systems that drive consistency and efficiency.

As a Senior UX Designer, you will also provide direction to the design team, ensuring alignment with product strategy and best practices. Excellent communication is key, as you will interact with a complex mix of engineers, designers, and executives, representing design positions with clarity and precision.

Your typical tasks will include:

• Encouraging the adoption of features and designs within the open-source community.
• Engaging confidently in user research practices, staying informed of the latest design research and innovations.
