Your responsibilities will include:

  • Influencing internal and external stakeholders and leadership to gain buy-in for your strategic direction.
  • Building a buying and sourcing strategy for new categories while ensuring flawless execution and continuously analyzing key metrics to drive business improvements.
  • Developing relationships with vendors, managing category profitability, optimizing pricing, and enhancing your team’s performance.
  • Supporting the Category leader in driving new strategic initiatives and business opportunities for the organization.
  • Negotiating partnerships, terms of trade, and contracts from vendors across various product categories.
  • Engaging with global partner teams to incorporate best practices into local operations and identifying automation opportunities to improve key metrics.
  • Owning the P&L to meet financial targets and managing various stakeholders to enhance profitability.

This position requires you to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, handle ambiguity, and prioritize competing demands effectively. Essential qualities include strong analytical skills, excellent business judgment, and a passion for creating a world-class shopping experience.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with Excel.
  • 5+ years of account management, project or program management, or buying experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of professional or military experience.
  • Experience using data to influence business decisions and driving internal cross-team collaboration.
  • Experience with business analysis and P&L management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams.
