Senior Virtualization & Cloud Infrastructure Specialist (Egyptian National)

About the job

We are looking for a Senior Virtualization & Cloud Infrastructure Specialist with strong enterprise infrastructure experience to manage and optimize virtualization, cloud, storage, backup, and disaster recovery environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and administer VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN, HCI, and Dell VxRail.
• Manage VMware HA, DRS, FT, vSwitch/DVS, VM migrations, upgrades, and lifecycle management.
• Administer Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Hyper-V, and Failover Clustering.
• Manage enterprise backup and DR solutions, including Veeam, Commvault, Cohesity, Dell Networker, VMware SRM, and Zerto.
• Administer SAN/NAS storage, including Dell EMC/Unity, Pure Storage, and HPE 3PAR/MSA.
• Manage Microsoft Azure, including VMs, VNets, NSGs, VPN, Load Balancers, Azure Firewall, Storage, Backup, and ASR.
• Support LAN/WAN, VLANs, routing, Cisco networking, VPNs, and firewall connectivity.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, capacity planning, and technical transformation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, perform RCA, and ensure high availability, security, and business continuity.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• 10–15+ years of enterprise IT infrastructure experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in VMware, Windows Server, Azure, Storage, Backup & DR.
• Experience working with large-scale, multi-site enterprise environments.
• Relevant VMware, Microsoft, or Azure certifications are a plus.
