Senior Web Designer

Element 8 is seeking a Senior Web Designer with over 4 years of experience to enhance our software into user-friendly products for our clients. The role involves gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. A successful candidate should be proficient in design software and wireframe tools, and should possess a portfolio showcasing professional design projects, particularly in web and mobile applications. The Senior Web Designer will create both functional and appealing features that address our clients' needs and contribute to expanding our customer base.

Responsibilities:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with the team.
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.
• Design graphic user interface elements, including menus, tabs, and widgets.
• Build page navigation buttons and search fields.
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly demonstrate site functionality and appearance.
• Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches, and tables).
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders.
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness).
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback.
• Adhere to style standards regarding fonts, colors, and images.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of proven work experience as a Web Designer or UI/UX Designer.
• A portfolio of design projects.
• Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g., Wireframe.cc, InVision, Figma).
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Strong team spirit and communication skills for collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Good time-management skills.
• BSc in Design, Computer Science, or a relevant field.
