Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain web applications, developing new features, debugging existing code, and optimizing for user experience.
- Collaborate with developers and designers to create a cohesive user experience and translate design wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize front-end performance for speed and scalability across various devices and browsers.
- Build and maintain robust backend logic, ensuring efficient processing and secure data handling.
- Participate in regular code reviews, providing constructive feedback and adherence to coding standards.
- Write and maintain unit tests to ensure codebase stability and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve development issues to ensure minimal disruption to user experience.
- Plan, execute, and facilitate website and application development projects per specifications, budget, and timeline.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technology and best practices in web and application design and development.
- Solve complex problems and stay current with the latest web technologies.
- Enforce and comply with necessary controls and information security policies.
Qualifications:
- Tertiary-level qualification from an internationally recognized institution.
- 5 to 7 years of experience in web development with a focus on React.js and Node.js.
- Experience as a specialist individual contributor or a team lead managing and delivering projects.
- Expertise with cloud platforms (OCI, Alibaba, GCP, AWS, etc.).
- Strong understanding of stabilization and security practices.
- Proficient in the use of network diagnostic tools.
