Your Challenges and Mission
- Collaborate within a multi-cultural team, enhancing your working practices while maintaining infrastructure and crafting systems that empower our global workforce.
- Design, deploy, and maintain large-scale cloud infrastructure on platforms such as AWS and GCP, ensuring our digital landscape remains robust and scalable.
- Implement and enforce cloud security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Optimise cloud costs by analysing usage patterns, identifying inefficiencies, and implementing cost-saving strategies.
- Utilise Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to automate provisioning, configuration, and management of infrastructure resources.
- Ensure high availability of production environments and minimise downtime through proactive monitoring, rapid troubleshooting, and effective incident response.
- Employ Agile methodology to deliver incremental improvements and adopt quickly to changing requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve systems and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role and capability to contribute as an individual contributor or in a leadership capacity.
- Proficiency in Windows systems administration, including troubleshooting and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of networking principles and TCP/IP stacks.
- Experience with large-scale cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS and GCP.
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices and compliance standards.
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools and concepts.
- Understanding of Agile methodology, CI/CD concepts, and Git versioning.
- Ability to write and review scripts with a focus on automation and process improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, effective in a team environment.
- Develop and maintain monitoring solutions to ensure the health and performance of cloud environments.
What's Good to Have
- Familiarity with an additional development language such as Python, Go, C++, or .NET.
- Knowledge of MetaTrader 5 (MT5) Administration.
- Familiarity with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with configuration management platforms like Octopus Deploy.
- Proficiency in Linux System Administration.
