In this role, you will balance keeping business-critical services running while expanding our feature set. Responsibilities include:
- Proactively collaborating on design, architecture, and feature selection for solutions across distributed teams.
- Writing high-quality, API-first Python code with unit tests.
- Debugging issues and producing high-quality fixes.
- Reviewing code produced by other engineers.
Who You Are:

- Holds a Bachelor's or equivalent in Computer Science, STEM, or a similar degree.
- Proficient in delivering robust code to production, ideally in Python.
- Experienced in maintaining and improving large and mature web applications.
- Knowledgeable in databases, ORMs (PostgreSQL a plus), data management, and data modeling.
- Interested in or experienced with integration, infrastructure, and operations.
- Believes that robust security requires conscious efforts at every stage of delivery.
- Familiar with Ubuntu as a development and deployment platform.
- Has a solid understanding of various software packaging systems, including Debian/Ubuntu packages.
Location: Jiddah, Makkah, Saudi Arabia (Remote)
Work Conditions: Full-time, Remote with global travel 2 to 4 times a year for internal and external events.
