As the Service Delivery Manager, you will lead the company Cargo terminal operations on shift to achieve high levels of service delivery while ensuring a safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend improvements to Cargo Operations standards and ensure implementation.
- Identify and manage problem areas within the operation, ensuring service delivery targets are met while maintaining safety and cost efficiency.
- Coordinate resources on a shift basis to meet service-level agreements (SLAs) with customers.
- Review and manage the performance of direct reports, ensuring alignment with individual targets.
- Develop staff according to their training needs analysis and career paths.
- Conduct safety briefings regularly, intervening in risk exposure situations and model safe behaviors.
- Maintain an overview of Cargo Operations and stakeholder activities to achieve the company and Cargo objectives.
- Implement service recovery measures to handle customer complaints.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customs and various airport services.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Diploma or Degree in Air Cargo or Cargo Ground Handling.
- 5-8 years of experience in Air Cargo or logistical services in an operational position.
- UAE Driving license or Home Country Driving License.
- Valid license for operating equipment (Airport Driving Permit).
- Proficient knowledge in Cargo Operations, Ramp Operations, and operational IT systems (e.g., dacs+, camsys).
- Advanced safety awareness skills and supervisory skills.
- Strong operational and leadership experience in a shift-based environment will be an advantage.
