Service Engineer

About the Job
As a Service Engineer, you will provide service and support for the company's products, including maintenance, diagnostics, installation, commissioning, and problem resolution. You will be the focal point for customer technical support, advising on preventative maintenance and configuration adjustments to enhance product performance and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks per customer requirements.
• Provide recommendations for product enhancements and system health checks.
• Coordinate service project activities.
• Conduct startup, installation, commissioning, fault analysis, and repairs on Process Management products at customer sites.
• Assist Sales Engineers in demonstrating products and providing after-sales guidance, promoting services proactively.
• Develop and implement product/system configuration changes on-site to meet customer needs.
• Offer on-the-job training to customers on the application, maintenance, and operation of the company's products.
• Support the on-call rotation as required.
• Complete all documentation in accordance with the company's business processes, including timesheets and site visit reports.
• Adhere to Health, Safety & Environment policies set by the organization.

Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Associate level certification for all on-site services performed.
• An understanding of Control & Instrumentation theory, including control loop configuration.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Control Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronics).

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Process Management, Process Systems, and Solutions products.
• Experience with automation and control systems in process industries, typically 2-4 years.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
