Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Provide technical assistance and maintain the company systems and products at customer sites (including Cyber Security Solutions, Exa Quantum, Exa OPC & ARA).
- Assist with installation and startup for customers.
- Manage administrative duties related to service calls.
- Troubleshoot issues within customer systems and correct problems as necessary.
- Perform preventive maintenance work on assigned service contracts.
- Advise customers on site preparation and layout prior to installation.
- Conduct system startup operations and supervise installations.
- Assist customers in the commissioning of processes.
- Modify configurations and update relevant documentation as needed.
- Offer 24-hour service when on call.
- Repair, configure, calibrate, stage, and troubleshoot systems in-house as required.
- Report activities, times, materials, and expenses in accordance with requirements.
- Understand customer requirements and propose suitable solutions for identified problems.
- Prepare quotations for RFQs received from customers.
- Monitor and perform sales-related activities.
- Provide training courses to end users based on system requirements.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, or related field.
- 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Cyber Security and the company systems support and maintenance.
- Strong field experience with Cyber Security and Exa Systems is preferred.
- Evidence of training for Cyber Security and Exa Products is desirable.
- Relevant OT Cyber Security certification.
Key Competencies
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure during turnaround and shutdowns.
- Good communication skills for coordination with operations and maintenance teams.
- Strong focus on safety, reliability, and compliance.
- On-site experience troubleshooting complex Purdue Model networks and setting up network devices in IT/OT environments.
- Knowledge of the latest OT Cyber Security Standards and Guidelines.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on expertise in configuration and maintenance of Cyber Security and the company Exa Products.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, Fieldbus).
- Familiarity with installation and troubleshooting of hardware (servers, firewalls, switches).
- Project report writing skills.
Work Environment
- Primarily site-based role (offshore and onshore) in the company installations in Qatar.
- Requires on-call support or emergency response availability.
