How You’ll Make An Impact:
- Represent the Service Engineering function in project and customer meetings, contributing to the development of project execution philosophies and plans.
- Serve as a key technical interface with customers, ensuring the company is presented as a professional and trusted partner.
- Execute engineering activities such as design, manufacturing, system integrations, factory testing, and support in site implementations.
- Develop HMI configurations and system databases according to project specifications.
- Coordinate with customers and external entities to finalize design concepts and complete acceptance testing activities.
- Prepare project documentation including Panel Drawings, System Architecture, Signal Lists, and Risk Assessments.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, external regulations, cybersecurity requirements, and safety protocols.
- Manage external partners providing equipment or services, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality requirements.
- Mentor and support colleagues, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
- Perform real-time risk and opportunity assessments throughout project execution and provide timely reporting of contract issues and quality concerns.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of experience as an SCMS engineer with proven design, testing, and commissioning expertise.
- Strong command of Substation Automation Systems and communication protocols (IEC 101, IEC 104, IEC 61850, etc.).
- Advanced proficiency with the company MicroSCADA and RTU systems.
- Hands-on experience with engineering tools such as MS Office, Visio, IET, ITT, PCM, and MiCOM.
- Solid understanding of substation control logic, interlocking schemes, and power system operational principles.
- Intermediate knowledge of OT cybersecurity standards and practices.
- Willingness to travel 20% to customer sites.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
