Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the Service Engineering function in project and customer meetings, contributing to the development of project execution philosophies and plans.
- Serve as a key technical interface with customers, maintaining the company's professional image.
- Execute engineering activities such as design, manufacturing, system integrations, factory testing, and site implementations per approved processes.
- Develop HMI configurations and system databases according to project specifications.
- Coordinate with customers and external entities to finalize design concepts and complete acceptance testing activities.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, including Panel Drawings, System Architecture, and Risk Assessments.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes, external regulations, and safety protocols.
- Support continuous improvement through feedback on lessons learned and product/process enhancements.
- Manage external partners providing equipment or services to ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality requirements.
- Mentor colleagues and drive innovation in engineering solutions and customer value.
- Perform real-time risk and opportunity assessments throughout project execution.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or a related field.
- 6–10 years of experience as an SCMS engineer with proven design, testing, and commissioning expertise.
- Strong understanding of Substation Automation Systems and related communication protocols.
- Advanced proficiency in the company's MicroSCADA and RTU systems, along with various IEDs.
- Experience with engineering tools such as MS Office, Visio, and related applications.
- Solid understanding of substation control logic and operational principles.
- Intermediate knowledge of OT cybersecurity standards and practices.
- Willingness to travel 20% to customer sites.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required.
