Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of custom-scoped ServiceNow applications.
- Define and configure complex workflows, business rules, notifications, and data models.
- Design and enforce role-based security models (ACLs) aligned with enterprise standards.
- Guide junior developers and review configurations for quality and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
- Ensure all developments are upgrade-safe, performance-optimized, and compliant with EGA ServiceNow standards.
- Manage deployment activities across non-production and production environments.
- Support release planning, change requests, and production stabilization.
- Produce high-quality technical documentation and conduct structured knowledge transfer.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 4+ years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide API, ServiceNow Studio, and scripting best practices.
- Hands-on experience with Flow Designer, App Engine, Service Portal, and reporting.
- Solid experience in custom application development and lifecycle management.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow security, ACLs, and role design.
- Experience working within enterprise governance, change, and release frameworks.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CAD, App Engine) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Deliverables:
- Deployed ServiceNow Stakeholder Management Application.
- Configured data model, forms, workflows, and access roles.
- Basic dashboards and operational reports.
- Technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
- Hosted on the company's existing ServiceNow platform and licenses.
- Any scope changes governed through the company's formal change control process.
- Final acceptance subject to EGA functional, security, and quality approval.
