Your Role and Responsibilities
- Learn the ServiceNow platform quickly through structured training, mentoring, and hands-on activities.
- Build small features with guidance: client scripts, UI policies, business rules, Flow Designer flows.
- Configure forms, lists, and basic workflows for ITSM modules (Incidents, Requests, Knowledge).
- Write clean JavaScript for server and client logic, plus simple HTML/CSS for UI tweaks.
- Develop and test REST integrations using IntegrationHub or scripted REST APIs.
- Create reports and dashboards; document what you build and how to support it.
- Follow secure-by-default practices, basic ACLs, and data hygiene.
- Work in an agile team: pick up stories, estimate, demo, and retrospect.
- Troubleshoot defects, write unit tests, and keep code in Git with clear commits.

Bachelor's Degree
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or similar.
- Solid programming fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, debugging.
- Proficiency in JavaScript; working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and SQL.
- Understanding of web services and JSON; able to use tools like Postman.
- Familiarity with Git and basic CI concepts.
- Strong problem-solving, curiosity to learn, and clear written and verbal communication.
- Eligibility to obtain ServiceNow Certified System Administrator within 1-2 months.
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
- Coursework or projects in web apps, APIs, or workflow automation.
- Exposure to ServiceNow concepts (CSA study, developer instance, personal labs).
- Knowledge of ITSM or ITIL basics.
- Experience with one scripting or programming language in addition to JS (Python or PowerShell).
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms, authentication, and security fundamentals.
- Experience with unit testing, SQL queries, and simple data modeling.
- Internship, hackathon, or open-source contributions that show initiative and teamwork.
