You will also oversee the customization of ServiceNow applications to meet specific business needs, leading the development of custom applications and modules, all while ensuring proper documentation and maintainability. Establishing and enforcing platform governance and best practices, you will conduct regular reviews of platform performance, scalability, and security while ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
Collaboration with business stakeholders is key, as you will translate their needs into technical solutions and communicate platform strategy and performance effectively with senior management. Staying updated with the latest ServiceNow features and industry trends, you will identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, leading initiatives to enhance the user experience and overall efficiency of the platform.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Experience: At least 7 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 5 years working specifically with the ServiceNow platform. Proven experience in ServiceNow implementation, customization, and integration, along with a leadership or architectural role in a complex IT environment.
- Certifications: Required – ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA); Preferred – ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) and additional ServiceNow certifications (e.g., ITSM, ITOM).
- Skills: In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow modules (ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM); strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and architecture; proficient in ServiceNow development (JavaScript, Glide API, REST/SOAP APIs); excellent problem-solving skills; strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
