The role will focus on ServiceNow platform architecture, ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, CSDM, enterprise workflows, integrations, security, governance, performance, and upgrade strategy. The architect will ensure the ServiceNow platform is scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with platform best practices.

Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end ServiceNow solution and platform architecture across ITSM, ITOM, and enterprise workflows.
- Define ServiceNow platform architecture principles, standards, patterns, and best practices.
- Define and govern CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM) strategy.
- Design and govern the ServiceNow data model and platform security model.
- Define integration architecture and patterns between ServiceNow and enterprise applications.
- Design integrations using IntegrationHub, REST APIs, SOAP web services, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Lead technical discovery, architecture workshops, and solution design sessions.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
- Lead architecture and design reviews throughout the implementation lifecycle.
- Define standards for configuration, customization, scoped applications, and reusable platform capabilities.
- Promote an out-of-the-box-first approach to reduce unnecessary customization and technical debt.
- Ensure solutions meet performance, scalability, security, maintainability, and upgrade-safety requirements.
- Define ServiceNow upgrade and platform lifecycle strategies.
- Review solution designs, integrations, configurations, custom applications, and technical documentation.
- Guide ServiceNow developers, consultants, administrators, and implementation teams.
- Support technical issue resolution, architecture decisions, and platform optimization.
- Collaborate with application, integration, infrastructure, security, cloud, and architecture teams.
- Mentor ServiceNow consultants and developers and promote platform engineering best practices.
Technical Requirements
- Strong experience with ServiceNow Solution Architecture and Platform Architecture.
- Strong knowledge of ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) and IT Operations Management (ITOM).
- Strong experience with CMDB and Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform security, roles, access controls, and governance.
- Experience with JavaScript and ServiceNow Glide APIs.
- Experience with Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP web services, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience designing ServiceNow integrations with enterprise applications and external platforms.
- Experience with ServiceNow scoped applications and platform development standards.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow configuration versus customization approaches.
- Experience defining platform upgrade strategies and maintaining upgrade-safe solutions.
- Experience with performance, scalability, availability, and platform optimization.
- Experience defining architecture standards, design principles, and technical governance.
- Experience managing technical debt and ensuring platform maintainability.
- Experience producing solution architecture diagrams, technical designs, integration designs, and platform documentation.
- Broad ServiceNow experience across multiple modules and enterprise workflow capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of relevant technology and ServiceNow experience.
- At least 2+ years in a ServiceNow Solution Architect, Platform Architect, or similar role.
- Hands-on experience delivering ServiceNow solutions across full implementation lifecycles.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
- One or more ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications are required.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) is preferred.
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or Certified Master Architect (CMA) is highly desirable.
- ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise ServiceNow implementations or transformation initiatives is preferred.
