SharePoint and Web Application Jr. Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SharePoint and Web Application Jr. Lead with a strong background in SharePoint On-Premises environments and web application maintenance. The ideal candidate will possess excellent soft skills, leadership capabilities, and hands-on experience in incident, problem, change, and service request management. Prior working experience in the Middle East region is essential to ensure cultural alignment and service delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day operations of SharePoint On-Premises environments (2013/2016/2019).
• Manage custom web applications built on .Net/MWC based frameworks.
• Collaborate with a team of SharePoint and Web Applications Support Engineers.
• Manage Intranet sites and external sites hosted on SharePoint.
• Coordinate with L3 and L4 teams for escalated tickets.
• Handle critical incidents/business requests in a timely manner.
• Perform patching, upgrades, and health monitoring of SharePoint farms.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolution for incidents and recurring issues.
• Interface with business users and IT stakeholders to capture requirements and report progress.
• Maintain detailed knowledge base, SOPs, and configuration documentation.
• Train and mentor junior team members on operational processes and SharePoint best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in SharePoint On-Premises administration & support.
• Strong knowledge of SharePoint Central Admin, PowerShell, IIS, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Middle Eastern clients or organizations is preferred; experience in banking and finance is an advantage.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, SSL certificates, and related integrations.
• Excellent communication, client interaction, and documentation skills.
• ITIL Foundation Certification is a plus.
• Exposure to enterprise-grade environments and digital transformation initiatives.
