Position

The SIE PMO Manager will be responsible for overseeing project scheduling, risk management, finance and controlling, configuration management, document controlling, office administration, and resource planning. Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Scheduling: Ensure Project Schedules (Level 1/2/3) are baselined and regularly updated/monitored.
  • Project Risk and Opportunity Management: Conduct regular risk reviews and provide quarterly risk reports.
  • Finance and Controlling: Support invoicing and forecasts, and liaise with finance to update estimates at completion.
  • Configuration Management & Document Controlling: Organize Change Control Boards and maintain the Change Control Note log.
  • Office Administration: Manage communications and correspondence with customers and stakeholders.
  • Resource Planning: Support the resource planning process within Airbus for project resource needs.

Person Specification:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in PMO and Project Controlling, with a background in large projects and programmes.
  • Experience supervising a Project Management Office (PMO) within a large organization.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, particularly engaging with government entities in the Middle East.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills and experience in a multi-cultural environment.
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma with experience in Project Management.
  • Project Management certifications such as PMP or equivalent (e.g., PRINCE2).
  • Excellent proficiency in English (both oral and written).
