In this role, you will be a subject matter expert responsible for delivering enterprise-level IT support and maintenance across various IT services within the organization. Your day-to-day responsibilities include following guidelines and instructions to support the installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of company infrastructure and systems. Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and maintain new hardware or software to provide new services.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and system analysis using standard checklists to resolve incidents and ensure system availability.
- Carry out system administration tasks, including configuration, systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and support.
- Test and validate new systems to ensure they meet requested functionality and quality.
- Implement backup and recovery procedures to ensure availability.
- Conduct system monitoring for proactive support by gathering data such as performance metrics and system logs.
- Execute hardware or software upgrades and patch applications.
- Create and manage Incident Management, Change Management, and Request Fulfilment tickets while documenting work results and resolutions.
- Perform other tasks as defined and approved by the leadership team.
Knowledge and Attributes:
- Entry-level knowledge of infrastructure technology and necessary management tools (e.g., PowerShell, Python, SQL, ABAB).
- Developing proficiency in troubleshooting and technical understanding.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, able to explain technical content to non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ITIL support processes (Incident, Change, and Request Management).
- Ability to analyze information to choose the best solution and solve problems.
- Capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology or a related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCP, A+, Linux+, Microsoft Certified) are beneficial.
Required Experience:
- Entry-level experience in a similar role within an information technology environment.
