About This Role:
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Simulator Engineer to join our dynamic team at Liwa Airbase. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and enhancement of our UAV simulators, ensuring smooth, efficient, and top-quality operations at our state-of-the-art training center. Key Tasks:

  • Support all technical and operational aspects of the UAV Simulator Training Devices.
  • Attend maintenance calls and perform daily readiness checks as required, including scheduled preventative maintenance.
  • Identify, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex training device issues.
  • Work towards permanent solutions for recurring issues and seek improvements in maintenance procedures.
  • Provide on-the-job technical training to other technicians and mentor them in their professional development.
  • Collaborate with specialists on complex issues that require extensive research, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and support the FSTD operations Management System, implementing necessary processes and procedures.
  • Perform minor software, hardware, and/or CDB updates as needed.
  • Manage consumable items and tools necessary for maintenance tasks.
  • Support logistics duties, including yearly inventories and preparation for shipping.

Qualifications and Skill Set Requirements:

  • Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computers, or Mechatronics.
  • Prior experience working with simulators is advantageous.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language, including reading, speaking, and writing.
  • Highly customer-oriented with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Basic understanding of networking, operating systems, and programming languages.
  • A driving license is ideally required to access the base.
