Key Responsibilities:
- Support all technical and operational aspects of Flight Simulator Training Devices and Cabin Crew Training Devices.
- Attend flight crew and maintenance calls, perform daily readiness checks, support flyouts, and carry out scheduled preventative maintenance.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex training device issues and AOGs (Aircraft on Ground).
- Work on improvements to procedures for training device maintenance tasks.
- Provide on-the-job technical training to other technicians through coaching and mentoring.
- Maintain and support the FSTD (Flight Simulator Training Device) operations Management System.
- Perform updates of navigation databases, charts, and lesson plan uploads.
- Track and request consumable items and tools needed for maintenance tasks.
- Engage in logistics duties, including yearly inventories and preparation for shipping.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
- Technical College Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Aviation Field.
- 3 to 6 years of related work experience.
- Excellent command of the English language (reading, speaking, and writing).
- Highly customer-oriented with strong relationship-building skills.
- Skilled in computer architecture, networking, operating systems, and minor software changes.
- Proficient technical background with familiarity in FSTD technical issues.
- Strong understanding of various aircraft types, including commercial jetliners (Airbus family).
- Knowledge of local & international aviation regulations (EASA, UAE DGCA, etc.).
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Language Requirements: Excellent knowledge of the English language is required.
